Ride Safely
While most of us know that it takes about one second to recognize and begin to react to a threat ahead of us, it usually takes from one to two seconds for riders to recognize and begin to react to a change of speed (increase) of the bike in front of them when they are riding in a group.
A couple of seconds doesn’t sound much but while at two seconds a small group of bikes can usually manage quite well, at THREE seconds some problems can occur, this is particularly true if there are more than five or six bikes in a group.
The following may convince a lead rider to behave with more thought !
At 60 MPH your bike moves at 88 feet per second, assuming that you maintain a one second gap between bikes in the group then each bike is about 88 feet behind the next one, at 70 MPH the gaps would be about 103 feet !!
So maybe these thoughts will help.
HAVE FUN BUT PLEASE RIDE SAFELY !

Always wear trousers that fit and stay up ---- in fact make sure that you have pulled them up after a wild roadside piss-----this could be UR ASS !!!!

Anyone up for this? Short notice, I know, but let me know asap..... limited spaces are going real quick!!!!!
Here’s why........................
10th NOVEMBER - Rafting Trip
I am planning a trip for 10th November, 2010 to the home of one of the earliest Indian settlements.

The excursion will consist of a bus trip to the Cherokee Nation, and a guided tour along the river which runs through it. Cost of the trip is £600.00 P/P, which includes food.
If you’d like to go too, book early, as I anticipate space will be extremely limited.
We’ll do some sight seeing, wildlife photography and that sort of thing.....
The highlight of the trip will be the river tour. No white water rapids, but perhaps a few small bumps that might result in your getting a little wet.
What makes the trip especially meaningful is that our river guide is a full-blooded Cherokee; born and raised in the area, and extremely knowledgeable of the territory and any obstacles we may encounter on our journey.
Below is a photo of our guide and the river we will be running.
If you are interested, let me know as soon as possible. This trip is often sold out a year in advance.

Her name is UCAN TUCHUM
Don’t forget... let me know if you would like a spot on the trip.
