Morning All,
Sorry to bother you, here is my website, if you know anyone selling a bike or just
looking for some thing in particular then please pass on my details.
Things are steady at the moment, better than working 6 days a week, enjoying spending
time with my wife and children,
I am also looking to sell bikes on behalf of people, so again if you know anyone
please pass on my details,
Take care and hopefully we will speak soon.

This motorcycle friendly campsite is a nice little basic site that allows small
campfires. Just down the road is Hardknott and Wrynose Pass. These are 1291 and
1281 foot high passes, the road is steep (1 in 3 gradient) and narrow. Not a drive
for the faint hearted. Hardknott is the most difficult being narrower, steeper and
with hairpin bends. The scenery from the top is magnificent.. but then you have
to come down. During holiday periods, it is likely to be full of kids. For those
who find this off-putting, there is a quiet motorcycle friendly campsite, just a
few hundred yards further up the road towards the HardKnott pass called Hollins
Farm.

The Design of Motorcycle Club
patches
Choosing the design for your
bike club patch goes hand in hand with the decision to form and name your club.
Many clubs are named after a distinctive local landmark or from an episode in local
history. The Brigantees of Bradford were so named after the hill tribes that inhabited
the area, and the Berserkers and Norsemen were similarly named after wild Viking
raiders. Others prefer the animal theme, Lions, Cobras, Dogs and Rats to name but
a few. Whilst others are named after their type of bikes, or the search for speed
and lifestyle.
Wearing a distinctive patch helps reinforce a sense
of belonging and pride in your club so getting it right is important. Work on your
patch, and look at how others wear theirs. Take into consideration size, colours
and shape. A variation of the design may also be required for clothing, as what
works on a patch may not sit quite right on a hoodie or t-shirt. Embroidery is without
doubt the best medium for patches, however not all designs will embroider without
some degree of redesign.
We offer free advice as we have many years experience
not just in design, but also as bikers ourselves.
Please don’t hesitate to ask.

GENERAL INFORMATION
The Riders
Branch is for anyone who has an interest in motorcycling whether they ride or not,
and as one of the Legion’s “National” Branches, membership is open to everyone regardless
of abode.
The Riders
Branch is keen to attract motorcyclists and supporters from throughout the
UK
and abroad. We already have Branch members from
Cornwall
to
Scotland
, as well as from
Canada
,
France
,
Spain
,
Germany
,
Switzerland
,
Australia
and the
USA
.
We are brought together by our enthusiasm for motorcycling,
and our willingness to support the aims and charitable efforts of The Royal British
Legion. Branch members have the option to belong to more than one branch if they
wish, allowing them to remain members of their local Legion Branch/Club as well
as the National Riders Branch.
We have members from The Navy, The Army, The Royal Air Force and
The Royal Marines as well as those who have not served, but wish to support the
Royal British Legion through the Riders Branch.
The Riders Branch is very diverse in it’s membership. Members are young and old,
male and female. We take part in all types of biking and biking events, from track
days to rallies, on customs to sports bikes, and everything in between! And not
forgetting formal Legion organised events and fund raising.
All members are encouraged to play an active role within the branch at Local and
National level, with the emphasis on being pro-active in getting together with other
branch members in their geographical area.
We try to attend as many events as possible during the year, including a Charity
“Poppy” run. We use all these events to raise awareness and funds for the Royal
British Legion Poppy appeal.
Not forgetting, we are Bikers and try to enjoy ourselves at social events as well…
